Sept. 29, 1999Exercising finally!Something good is happening here! My friend from when I started looking into the mitoxantrone treatment has offered to help with whatever I need. He called me the other day, saying he's come into an inheritance and he and his wife have decided that they want to help me in anyway they can! Initially I asked for a generator for the Y2K thing, (our city has said, prepare for 3 to 7 days) I have to have my place as sufficient as possible. I don't even want to imagine what my "Help" will be like through that. One day will be a drag, god forbid if they have to use the manual crank on the bed! Preparing a meal or everything else involved with no power. I was going to stop all treatments until I could arrange for PT, a serious arrangement, (draining me financially and emotionally isn't an options!) so I asked if they will help with physical therapy for 6 months. He is completely aware of my situation and the importance of PT. When he was my attendant for 5 years he would walk through the front door ready to go, saying... READY TO EXERCISE!! standing frame, peddler, ROM, whatever it took he was ready, willing, positive and excited with the potential of the treatment I was starting. Mitoxantrone being the first treatment. He got married and moved away. Boy... was that a drag...We both cried, well... he went outside real fast!! I'm sending back the RifeBare device, until I can hire a Live-in that's into just a little of what I'm trying to accomplish. I was contemplating stopping Procarin but I will keep trying. I'll be interviewing a couple of people, hopefully something will come up soon. A little positive energy is a plus, mine gets a little drained sometimes! I'd like to be adding a Positive Procarin Post too! I'll be entering my exercise plan and results soon!
