August 15, 1999 Key Pharmacy email (in part) I can say from first hand experience that making a good seal is important, IF there's NOT A GOOD SEAL the Porcarin cream dries up. Which in turn doesn't allow for the medication to absorb through the skin. One things for certain, they need to send bigger patches. 3 by 3 inches would be much better to assure a proper seal. Especially when someone is putting it on that doesn't want to listen and could care less! Sorry for putting in that negative sentence but I think we all know by now that it's a common occurrence AND that this negative____doesn't help or aid with the healing process. I guess I'm giving fair warning, that even though I'm doing this treatment, it's not going to be in an optimum environment nor will the patches be put on when they're supposed to. It's happened 4 times so far. This treatment is just beginning, so we shall see!! I would think that if improvements happen with me, others should expect better results, if your living situation is better than mine... (Where's "Patch Adams" when you need him!) I do believe positive, lightness and joy help the healing process. It's not the answer but it does help. So, aside from this, make sure the seal is on securely. No air is fair in this situation!- |
