| Antibiotics versus Novantrone and Thoughts!February 16, 1999 My opinions of course! Obviously antibiotics are lots safer than mitoxantrone. There's no worry about the left ventricle of the heart getting damaged or weakened as mine has (45%). I still don't know if it's repairable, even with that drug DX. To me, that is the most or only dangerous part about Novantrone. The liver and/or kidneys are par for the course with just about any drug, if not all Drugs. My heart checked out fine at the beginning of the Novantrone treatment. I'm wondering if the history of my mother has anything to do with my heart weakening (?) She has had 3 double bypass surgeries (the 3rd one was caused by the surgeons mistake!) If that's the case, than I can see why mine has weakened. Antibiotics, you have to watch the liver and kidneys and have the possible threat of Candida but that can be controlled by the anti-fungal, Nystatin, asidophlis, asidophlis capsules, yogurt and I would think various foods. I see nothing threatening about that. This treatment seems so simple. We're so used to having to struggle, that we're skeptical, which is fine, too a point. The website with MSers using this treatment now should put most or some at ease. And to me, with the minimal threat, there's no reason not to try it. Sometimes I think, (with merit) I would try anything within reason... (but my reasoning may be a little off!) I haven't been too wrong yet, so here I go again! What's great about this antibiotic treatment, is that after they ( LifeCare) inform the world and share their knowledge with other doctors, (giving them the tools) ANY Doctor will be able to help MSers WITHOUT having to go through a hospital stay or pay $1,000 monthly for some medication that may or may not work. (unless the powers that be, interfere) Insurance companies may not be pleased, this will put a damper on them hiking up prices, with the excuse that they have no choice because of medical costs. Multiple Sclerosis is BIG BUSINESS... And, Pharmaceutical companies are not in business to put themselves out of business! Prescriptions of $1000.00 per month (Thousands of prescriptions) would be hard to give up! Antibiotics are cheap, compared to the ABC drugs. ...... a side note. Look up Royal Robert Rife, if you have doubts with how greed can corrupt...... I think you can tell, I don't think this is a hoax. Talking with Peterson, reading about antibiotics on the web and reading that MSers website, I'm getting more and more convinced. It's time we MSers got a break, I think this is it. |
