| February 12, 1999Appointment postponed 3 weeks.While making arrangements, I'm realizing one thing that Life Care Systems is going to have to improve on, especially with people that will be traveling a long distance. Which is, every Department needs to know what each one is doing! I was making arrangements with Dr. Workmen, (the psychologist) for my psyc evaluation. (it's beyond me why!?!) Everything was set for Friday, March 17th. Our plane and room reservations were confirmed. Than,I was making arrangements with Luz (Secretary) to see Dr. Giannotti for my physical and treatment plan. She informs me that the doctor is only there on Wednesday! I got a little angry that Workmen didn't tell me this. "Friday" was mentioned several times during our conversation. I told Luz "Don't you think it would be nice if everyone new what each department was doing?" So, by this mixup, I had to change my confirmations. Which has moved everything to April 6th. Flying in, the Clinic on the 7th and going home that night. It will be 6 weeks now before I start. I shouldn't complain actually, the Novantrone treatment took 2 1/2 years! Dr. Workmen charges $300.. $150 when I see her, than a post dated check for the remainder. I really don't understand her purpose, at least with me. I've done Juicing for all most a year, Bee Venom Therapy for 18 months, (60 stings per week.) The Novantrone treatment for 12 months and now I'm trying this. If the purpose is too see if I'm ready to have a life, I don't need a psychologist to point that out! I'll let you know what the out come is with this and hopefully a better understanding of why. I believe that we are entitled to pursue any treatment that we have decided upon, through knowledge and level thinking. Looking at research, an abundance or a couple pages. From research on other conditions using antibiotics, which are many, (enter antibiotics on the web) there must be something to this. I always get reminded of the movie "Lorenzo's Oil". His parents started out by finding a little article of a study that was passed by. Their National Society, didn't want anything to do with it. They were ignored, insulted and belittled. But their knowledge and gut feeling kept them going. The Myelin Project is the result. Along with Lorenzo improving! With the reminder of these people, I'll find out soon enough! There's something out there, that's not in the main stream, that's unusual or controversial. It's there, we just have to find it! NEWS FLASH!
