CHANGES

I'm finding that this treatment brings on flu like symptoms.Anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks after, lasting about 4 days.Chest congestion, slight dizziness and warm body. Not warm enough to say fever.

My peddling machine exercising is at a standstill... the woman said she needed more hours to make it worth her while! So l'm looking again!! ROM and Tilt Table are still happening, as well as resistance exercising.

Improvements are: my hands are relaxing more when I open them out flat on my stomach. I don't have that tight feeling, I do use a lot of energy. So much so that my biceps ache after. I still drag my finger tips along my stomach at the beginning of opening them completely (most of the time) but it's getting easier. When I drag my fingers along my stomach I am pulling my hand to the opposite side of my body. Which means my shoulder and the parts of my body that control that area are improving. My index and middle fingers straighten out easily, without dragging them. I can do that on my own!
I don't need assistance from my stomach! Mornings and at bedtime, (after I've relaxed) I can open my right hand. My left hand still needs assistance with dragging over my stomach. It's a lot more relaxed. Also when laying in bed, I can hold my head up higher and longer. Example: when someone is adjusting my pillow.

Urinating is starting to be "Regular". Meaning: after meals, before bedtime and in waking. I used to have urgency and frequency, waking up at all hours during the night. With my heels not hurting and now this, I can get my "Beauty rest"! Bowel function is staying the same, every 2 to 3 days.

I had my 4th treatment January 20th, I'm waiting to verify some information about mitoxantrone dosage before I enter here. Hopefully Dr. Pomeroy will get back with me after the weekend.

I'd like to ask a favor from everyone that has written me. My computer crashed last week, ...COMPLETELY... My treatment was the 20th, it crashed the 21st. I was down for 9 days! Geez, I was going through withdrawals!!:-) Would you write me, so I can get your addresses again? Just put the word address in the Subject: line... or just write! < smile >
