  • National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, -gives you access to medical information about MS, research and study information that is updated regularly.
  • THE MYELIN PROJECT-The Myelin Project aims to accelerate research on myelin repair. Myelin, the white matter insulating the nerves, allows the conduction of impulses from one part of the body to another. It can be destroyed by hereditary metabolic disorders such as the leukodystrophies, and in acquired diseases such as multiple sclerosis.
  • The Whole Brain Atlas - Just what it says. This is an excellent site.

  • Kombucha "Mushroom" Tea -this tea is used by many people as a "cure" for many ailments please read this article carefully and ALWAYS research ANY treatments before using them.

  • SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY SECRETS: SSD SSI TIPS ADVICE TO WIN BENEFITS WHEN YOU APPLY & APPEAL FOR SSDI - The purpose of this site is to distribute information that, typically, is impossible to get from the person taking your claim for ssd and ssi benefits. In essence, applying for disability and ssi benefits might as well be a secret process since Social Security does not try to make this information clear or even understandable.
  • CLAMS - Home of the Famous MS "Good Docs" list among many other interesting resources
  • NMSS - This is the homepage of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society here in the U.S. There are links there to local chapter info, MS Clinics, MS literature as well as a lot of other information .
  • MSF - This is the homepage of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Inc. YES, there is another MS organization! From my experience these folks are bit more into the "alternative" aspect of treating MS... It can never hurt to learn all you can, so.... give them a glimpse and see what you think!
  • Multiple Sclerosis Assoc. of King County/Homepage - The Multiple Sclerosis Association of King County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people with MS in King County.
  • MSnews from Arizona - I was fortunate enough to meet this wonderful person while I was facilitating support groups on AOL . She has done allot of work to provide news, information and cool links that are related to MS.
  • The International Federation of Multiple Sclerosis - the official coordinating link among 34 established Multiple Sclerosis Societies throughout the world, representing over 3 million people with MS worldwide.
  • Multiple Sclerosis Central- An excellent resource for folks with MS or those who just want to learn about it.
  • MS Society of Great Britain and Northern Ireland - The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain and Northern Ireland supports people whose lives are affected by multiple sclerosis by funding research and providing local and national services.
  • Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers NARCOMS - The Consortium of MS Centers (CMSC) has initiated the North American Research Consortium on MS (NARCOMS). The purpose of NARCOMS is to facilitate multi-center research addressing issues in the broad field of MS among the membership of the CMSC.
