| |  March 17 2004 Hello Friends, Hope you are all doing well. To update you from last month, my left arm is now back for the most part so the steroids did what they were supposed to.
Spring is just around the corner and I am anxiously awaiting my crocus' to appear to reinforce the idea that spring is in the air. (Seeing flowers pop their way through the snow tends to give me a little more reinforcement that winter is truly on the way out.)
Not much has been happening this past month. NASCAR is back I just hope Ryan Newman does well in the points standing. Kelly Sutton is driving in the Truck Series this year for Team Copaxone. Kelly has MS and has been racing for years. It's nice to see she made it into the truck series ...who knows maybe in a couple years she will move up to Nextel Cup racing!
Since it is now March I am preoccupied with thoughts of nicer weather so Mike and I can get the bike out and get some wind in our faces. It looks like our H.O.G. Chapter has a pretty full calendar this year and I am looking forward to getting back in the wind.
On a solemn note, I lost my Uncle Benny this month. He was 73 and very special to me. He and my Aunt Cathy have always made a point of being their for me since I was a kid so there is an empty spot right now that I am going to have to get used to. He was a super guy and will be missed by all who knew him.
