Greetings once again,

Sorry it took so long to update, I've been busy. I took the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Safe Riders Course (twice). I need to practice more before I take the state test to get my cycle endorsement. I do have my learners (temporary instructional) permit. Riding a motorcycle gives multitasking a whole new definition. There is so much more to it then just jumping on a bike and hitting the open road. In all actuality it's  tougher than driving a car but once I get some practice in I will be fine. For now I have a 1983 500cc Yamaha Virago and it's a perfect starter bike for me.
Considering that 10 years ago I was learning to operate a car with hand controls and wheeling around in a scooter or wheelchair, I've got time to practice and get it right before I take my road test.
Needless to say since it's nice weather there probably won't be many updates here for the next couple of months. Mike and I have some scheduled rides with our HOG Chapter and the West Branch HOG Rendezvous (a weekend of concerts, camping and fun) and some Classic Car shows we plan on attending and I want to practice riding my bike as well, so this is a busy time of year.
On the MS side of things.... I've been on Copaxone for almost 7 years now and the doctors are still seeing improvements. This last week at my 6 month check up although I am experiencing some MS Fatigue and was prescribed Provigil (it seems to be helping) the rest of my exam was great. This is the first time ever since 1986 when my symptoms began that I could feel the tuning for until it stopped on my feet. Now why this is happening I don't know ... Is it the Copaxone? Is it Mike? Is it the life changes I've made? Is it the Harley? Could it be I don't focus on the MS as much? Maybe it's a combination of all of the above? I've always said AtTiTuDe*IS*EvErYtHiNg!!!  So maybe that's what it is?
I hope you all have a wonderful summer ....remember stay cool and pace yourself. Ice is your friend put it in your pockets, in your hat, anywhere you can (put it in a baggie first so you don't get all wet).  Don't let the MonSter bite you in the butt!
