| | June 18, 2003 Hello friends, Well it looks like summer is finally trying to show itself here in MI. I hope that everyone is doing well. It's been wet here most of the month. Mike and I worked with our HOG Chapter at a charity motorcycle run for Penrickton Center for the Blind in Taylor, MI. The ride went from Dundee, MI to Motown Harley Davidson in Taylor. There were over 900 bikes in the pack. Now considering it was raining that was an excellent turnout. Nothing like riding in a rainstorm but it was for an excellent cause. Last weekend we rode in the Andy Ross/ Trenton Firefighters run from Trenton, MI to Milan, MI and back and got a nice sunburn (talk about extremes). Andy Ross was a Trenton Firefighter who enjoyed riding his motorcycle, sadly he lost his life doing what he enjoyed. In his memory a fund was created by his fellow firefighters in his name to support a number of local charities. Riding for a good cause makes the ride that much more fun! It looks as though our weekends are all booked up. In two weeks we will have the hotrod at the Downriver Cruise with all the car shows and bike stuff there doesn't seem to be enough days in a week to do it all but we try. When I look back over the years it amazes me to no end. I feel so blessed to be where I am now. If someone were to have told me years ago I would doing all I am now I would have thought them crazy. I guess it just goes to show that anything is possible and AtTiTuDe*IS*EvErYtHiNg!!! As you read these posts please know I write them not to boast nor brag but to let you all know that anything really is possible! Take care my friends!
