Greetings Everyone,

     Sorry I have not updated in some time. Things have been busy. SO far so good the MonSter is still quiet! I've been busy with my house cleaning the yard and gardens and doing some work inside as well. I really screwed up though, I was throwing the weeds in the fire and burned some poison ivy. Never burn poison ivy, I walked through the smoke, fortunately I did not breath it. Systemic poison ivy is miserable. It took a medrol dose pack as well as a round of prednisone, two steroid injections, a special cream and a special gel and lots of atarax to get things turned around then, to add insult to injury, I got a good case of thrush from the steroids! Things are much better now!

     The HOG Rendezvous was a blast, we saw Alice Cooper, Greg Rollie, Styx and Bomshel. All the bands put on a great show. It was a nice week away.

     Summer is here and this week is going to be in the 90's with high humidity so I will be hiding at Mikes during the day and taking advantage of his swimming pool to stay cool. One of these days I will get central air (maybe). 

     Please do all you can to stay cool and symptom free this summer. Don't forget there are resources for cooling vests and other such products all over the web and if you can't afford that a bag of frozen peas or corn in a hat can do wonders, even a ziplock  sandwich bag with crushed ice works!

     Well that's all for now... I'm outta here before the temp rises too much!
