| December 28,2004 Greetings friends, Hunting went well even though we didn't get anything. We had a good time and we did see some deer. Deer camp was great though, Mike did an awesome job and everyone had a good trip. I am thinking of possibly getting involved in some 3-D archery shoots during the off season since I'm doing pretty good at hitting the target. Had a deer come into range I am confident I could have got one. Hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season. Ours was slightly interrupted by some kind of flu bug On the health front aside from the flu the MS is staying quiet and I had a good Neurology exam (actually it was awesome the doc is amazed). The new challenge is Menopause and let me tell you it SUCKS! My ob/gyn started me on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) it's called Activella, with the hopes that the hot flashes and night sweats would ease up. So far it does seem to be helping somewhat. I really wanted to avoid HRT because of all the recent negative reports about it but I had to do something because the hot flashes were so bad. I was lucky to get 2 or 3 hours a night sleep, it was nasty. Hopefully things are evening out now since I am getting a bit more sleep and less hot flashes during the day. I will keep you all up to date on what happens with this too. Have a safe and happy New Year!
