April 20,1999 Hi Everyone, Welcome to
MSViews... I have added a couple new links and am still working on Ask the Doc's. We need
questions asked there so the doctors can see it is worth their time. Please check it out
so I can get the area fully up and running. As you all know, I have the secondary progressive form of this MonSter we all know and don't love. Since March of 97 I have been on Copaxone injections. This time last year I was seriously considering stopping the treatment because I didn't think it was doing anything. In all fairness I opted for an MRI before making a final decision. The results were promising even though my body was seeing any changes the plaques appeared to be shrinking so I figured I would give the stuff a longer chance. Ok so now it's been two years and last month I bought a Fuji Nevada mountain bike. Yes you read correctly I went from 4 wheels to 2! Weather permitting I have been able to ride anywhere from 1 to 7 miles a day depending on my schedule. Ok so I have taken a couple falls but hey it's been 20 years since I rode a bike. Also, I owe you all a big apology for neglecting the site the past few months. I have had some health problems not sure if it's the MonSter or menopause or what but the old head was screwed on backasswards. Things are getting better in that department now. Also I have been working on another website for a great bunch of folks who own a nursery. They have been so helpful to me in the past even to the point of letting me phone in orders and bringing them to the car for me when I got there. These folks have even pushed me around in my chair on some pretty lousy terrain. I wanted to do something nice in return. Not advertising here or anything but.. if you want you can check out my work at this URL http://www.grassrootsnursery.com . I will try to add new things here and work harder on the Bobby Approval over the summer. I want to thank you all for your kind letters and thoughts since I started this page. Just knowing you folks are out here helps me through the rollercoaster rides. Hugs and Love Oishda |
